Gold for business owners

I read this ebook on holiday found it truly inspirational.
Much of the book is a "how to" for small-medium business owners to ensure they don't get stuck as employees of their own enterprise! They need to consider how to exit at some stage, and the book offers a very comprehensive treatment of this important topic.
Personally, I found the earlier passage about the author's life of more impact. I was inspired by her story about "living in the present" and Eckhart Tolle. This led me to research more into Tolle and his philosophy - I was blown away, to be honest! It's one thing to do business well - quite another to do LIFE well, which is what I took away. Who'd expect this from a business book?
I strongly recommend this book to small-medium business owners prepared to think "outside the square"

Great Insight!!

Liber8 Your Business has great practical advice for business owners. Some of the concepts are hard for me to wrap my mind around, but I can see why they’re important to successfully run your business. For example, one of her big points, “you are not your business!” explains that you shouldn’t be the sole reason why your business is able to exist; you should be able to take yourself out of the equation and it should be able to run itself. This will take time obviously, but should ultimately be your goal. This concept makes a lot of sense but I feel like I’m going to have to go back and work through the book a couple times before I can change to that mindset. This book will definitely stay close at hand so that I’ll be able to refer back to it for years to come.

Simply Revolutionary!

The eight stages listed and expounded upon in this book are truly amazing and easy to implement I feel. Laura explains that there are only two reasons to be in business: to make money and to make a difference. If you are not in in for these simple reasons, chances are you are going to fail or, more importantly, not be happy running a business. Have a good entry plan and exit plan are the two main ideas that I got from this excellent book. Laura shows you how to do this step by step. Thank you Laura for writing this!!
